Antibiotics

A message from Joe Lambert

Antibiotics are one of the best inventions the medical field has ever seen. That being said, too much of a good thing is not always good.  Treating an animal that lives in a natural environment that happens to become sick is great and should be done, just like I would treat myself.  Treating animals with antibiotics on a regular basis as a precaution to illness caused by unnatural environments is not acceptable.  Yes, the industry keeps the animals off antibiotics for a withdrawal period before butchering it, but what about the bacteria that has evolved to survive the antibiotics? What happens if I get that bacteria in my system and get sick, what will I take to kill that bug?  I like to know that this miracle antibiotic drug will work on me if I need it.
